Venue Highlights

Vsnap Studio

Nestled in the village is a semi-circular Hakka enclosure building, which houses Vsnap Studio, a joint project created in collaboration with celebrated costume designer Huang Wei. Its outer walls adopt the traditional rammed-earth brick technique of local dwellings, keeping historical memories alive.

Huang Wei is a close friend of Stan Lai and his wife. She is a well-known domestic designer, artist and fashion magazine consultant. She served as art director for hit productions including A Dream of Splendor, Till the End of the Moon, Princess Agents, One and Only and Tiny Times. In addition, she was the costume designer for multiple theatre works by Stan Lai.

Embracing Huang Wei’s design philosophy and fashion insights, Vsnap Photo Studio exhibits a collection of star-worn costumes from film and television productions. Nine themed shooting sets recreate styles spanning the Qin, Tang, Song, Ming and Qing dynasties, the Republican era, and the retro Hong-Kong vibe of the 1980s-1990s. It delivers premium, cinematic-grade portrait photography services.
